Music
Music is an important part of our lives. I remember as a kid getting up in the middle of the night to watch Wagner's Ring of the Nibelungen on PBS.
I remember the first album I bought - Ian Dury and the Extremes "Do It Yourself". Actually, I think I bought it at the same time I bought Billy Karloff and the Extremes "Let Your Fingers Do the Talking" and the Fabulous Poodles "Think Pink. They were in the 25 cent bin at Fisher's Big Wheel. Ah memories!
I remember playing a 78 of Sarah Vaughn's "Whatever Lola Wants" until it "mysteriously" disappeared. I still love that song! Good times!
Pet Shop Boys
Currently our favorite band is Pet Shop Boys. Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe are the Cole Porter and Noel Coward of our generation. If you don't believe me, check out their lyrics on their website.
